Yosemite!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever seen something that makes you think, how did God create this? This last week I took my family for 2 days to Yosemite national park. What a site! I can't believe the falls, the mountains and the sheer beauty of this magnificant place. This gives me a great perspective of our God, the majestic beauty of our creation is a reflection of his character and majesty. Man I can't wait to lay my eyes on God and heaven and experience the beauty that only God can create.

Collide 05 - Retrofit Your Mind

If your wondering how Camp Collide is going, wonder no more! Amazing! Tonight we talked about how God wants to retrofit our minds so we think like him. Four major points 1. Retrofit your desires. 2. Retrofit your attitude. 3. Retrofit your view of yourself. 4. Retrofit your view of others. We finished with an opportunity to come and work on any of these areas and more than 150 of our students responded to ask God to retrofit there mind!!!!!!!!!! We finally asked students to go to bed, the altars and chapel was filled for hours after the service! Students hungry for God. God will you please grow our hunger for just pure you!!!

With God,

Preparation

Preparing for different things in life is something we all deal with. Right now I'm preparing for Collide summer camp and I simply can't wait to get there! Retrofit is the theme and my responsibility for the week is Tuesday night. Retrofit your mind. Did you know that all of our minds come stock, and God wants us to retrofit the way our minds work. Much like an engine in a car. I'm excited about his week, my whole family is going and this is our opportunity to hang out with students we haven't met and catch up with everyone else.

Hope to see you there!!!!!

Sunday Morning

First of all, thanks to everyone who has had so many kind words to say about the Sunday Morning sermon, "extreme life makeover". What a fun Sunday! I had an absolute blast! If you have someone you'd like to hear the message it's available at www.capchrist.org . If you go to resources then sermons online, you'll be able to listen and watch the Sunday service. I don't know how each of you feel but I know that I feel hungry. Hungry for God, something fresh and new and different. Something lifechanging and challenging. God, help us to learn to LOVE PEOPLE and YOU more everyday.

Simply Worship!!!!!!!! Wow! What an awesome night! These nights are probably the most enjoyable ministry nights that God has allowed me to be involved in! It is awesome! To come and.....simply worship, there's nothing like it. No other agenda but worshipping God. I hope you didn't miss it but if you did we are going to do a live recording in September. IT will be available on Dvd and VHS.

New Stuff

It's funny how new stuff get's us going. Kind of like a fresh new pair of shoes give us a fresh new feeling. New socks, great feeling, new cloths, etc. We just purchased new stages for the activity center and they are incredible! I'm often times amuzed by how these kinds of things make me excited. I guess there is still part of me that is into new, neat stuff. Tonight was the first night on the new stage and it was great! Our band is sounding better and better, the guys and gals are playing like a championship team and it's just alot of fun right now. I can tell you one thing I'm not looking forward to is Ryan English leaving for college this fall. Ryan has become someone I trust and love. Anyway before groveling any longer I'm going to sign off. Thank God for new stuff , and guys like Ryan English (check out his weekend look in Fiji, on my right)
